“CrossFit Alliance was founded in September 2015. The idea behind CrossFit Alliance was to build a strong foundation around the community and family, to what we believe CrossFit actually stands for.
How do we stand out from the rest?
Through organisation, creativity and execution of everything we do, is of high priority. We do not believe in taking shortcuts or taking the easy way just to launch a program or implement changes, we make sure they are meticulously finished to a high standard so it represents us and the gym correctly.
A welcoming environment to encourage involvement from all abilities and age groups is and has been our key to the successful increase of our growing membership/ community base, becoming a household name around and beyond the Bay of Plenty region.
We have gone as far as designing a program(GromFit) specifically around neutering the inspired youth to be able to grow and build strength not only in body and mind, but building confidence within their day to day life.
In early 2016 we founded a totally new style of competition, Beauty Beyond Strength.
Beauty Beyond Strength was and still is the only female only competition in New Zealand that is based and programmed with females in mind. We give females a chance to participate in an environment that is all about them and their achievements. Testing their hard work that they have put in and show casing the talent of every individual.
The competition sold out in 3 hours with enough females on a waiting list to host another competition.
2017 is set to be a big year for us, with a new section of the gym opening 8th April, with the plan to run multiple community events and also show continual growth with in our community
The gym itself has been designed and built with Industrial athletic utilising gear such as 20mm flooring to multiple custom made rigs and gear. our gear and gym is cleaned daily to again keep the premium standard of the gym.”
