Graeme Johnson’s humble garage gym combines premium gear and a bit of kiwi DIY. Graeme lives with his wife Gillian and son Sam out in South Head, but works in Auckland city and as you can imagine, popping into the CrossFit box he is a member of (Functional Strength in Rosedale) is not super convenient at the drop of a hat. Being a keen CrossFitter, it made sense for Graeme to invest in some quality gear for using at home. The best part is, he’s inspired Sam to take an interest in fitness too meaning they get to spend time together – father and son – training.
